In honor of Pi Day, 3.14, publications sells apple pie with whipped cream and ice cream during the week, and then the week ends with a pie eating contest featuring Hoover teachers.  Last year’s champ, Mr. Wetzel competed against Mr. Yamfang, Ms. Savino, Ms. Tyler, Ms. Briana, and Mr. Coman.  In the end, Mr. Wetzel retained his title!
