At Jostens annual yearbook camp at the University of San Diego, the Hoover yearbook team received third place for overall theme in their division. The week long camp involved the creation of layouts, theme, and cover.

This year’s Editor-in-Chief, Annie Tran, led her team of editors, Kira Hawkins, Trung To, and John Nguyen, to complete their 2018 yearbook project in three days. Each editor went to different classes throughout the day and then came back together to discuss ideas and create. The week long workshop also included breakout sessions on staff leadership and marketing. The them and cover of the book will be revealed later this year.
