I was raised in Logan Heights, a neighborhood seen as a deprived area. I have a single mother who supported me all the way. No father was by my side to support me, my mother had to deal with two children which makes her one of my biggest admire because she was the one who pushed us to achieve greater thing in our lives. She made us get into clubs, which led me to take up the violin, draw unique illustrations, and sing. When I grow up I would like to help out my community because it’s my responsibility as a City Heights member to give back to my community by helping those in need. I have limited communication with my mom and high expectations from parents, I started talking to my parents more often, and followed my dreams. I was more open and willing to open my heart to my mom because after all she was the only one who was always there for me. I began to do good, not for my parents but for myself
