Attending Hoover has been a privilege to me. Hoover High is where I have learned the true significance of the community where everyone is treated equally. The support that has been offered and the opportunities I have came across are what have molded me today. Cardinals Interact, FACES, CAC, Chamber Choir, the academics and most importantly teachers that have helped me get where I want to be and prepare me for my future which is college, and adulthood. These programs provided here at Hoover created a sense of confidence by pushing me to embrace myself and the culture I held within, which in my case is Mexican.  I believe being a student has created the confidence in me to express my thoughts and be kind to everyone around me.
