Jose Partida

Hi I’m Jose Partida. I’m a junior at Hoover High and on the school’s track and cross country team. I’m Mexican. My father is from Nayarit, Mexico and my mom is from Mexico DF. I have two older sisters going to college and one younger brother in middle school. My passions are video games, running and hanging out with close loved ones. I like making money and being around my family.  The last time I was overjoyed and proud of myself was when I beat my personal record in a 5k run. At the moment, I find himself struggling with motivation, like coming to school. However I still continue to push himself. Additionally, I struggle with trusting the wrong people which causes chaos, but I’ve learned from those experiences and I’m a better person for it. The last time I struggled was in freshman year when I had to be the fifth man for varsity on the cross country team and my team depended on me to be good enough to qualify for state. When running a race I have to listen to my intuitions, like not following my coach’s instructions and running faster than I’m supposed to. Furthermore the last time I was sad was when I installed Forza Horizon three and the wait time was longer than expected. When days get harder, I tell myself, “Don’t worry about the future, the future will come shortly.”
