Yalia+Rosas

Yalia Rosas

My name is Yalia Rosas, and I turned eighteen-years old on February 13, 2018. I am very involved in my school, I used to be a part of cheerleading but now I spend most of my time as class treasurer for the class of 2018 and in the academy of AOIT. I have been involved in my community in anyway possible. From canyon clean-ups to participating at the YMCA for family events. My community is a very important factor to me, it is diverse and beautiful in many ways. Everyday after school I have something to do, it is either helping at school or making sure my community stays clean and beautiful as it should.

School is very important to me and I make sure to stay on top of my education and not fall behind. I do this by taking advanced classes such as Ap Lit, Ap Calculus and also taking a college course at SDSU. These classes help me get the knowledge that I will soon need. My schedule has always been busy, it is hard to find time to do other things. Even with all this difficulty upon me I still find things to do with my community or helping my fellow classmates as well. Through all this my achievement would be to graduate with a white gown and be able to walk away knowing that through my high school career, I never stopped doing things that benefited everyone.
