Albert Ramirez
I was born on February 18, 2000 here in San Diego. I’m a senior here at Hoover. The challenges I have faced have been mostly in school. I’ve hung out with the wrong crowd that would always bring me down from my responsibilities. I always fell for fake friends and that is where I would always mess up. Having these types of negative friends got in the way of my schoolwork and make me struggle. I overcame these so called friends by being with people that are a good influence and now I’m trying to do better in school. I may not get the best grades but I get enough grades to pass. Someone I look up to is my mom because she is a strong woman and a loving mother that always supports me. She has never gave up when things were tough so I won’t. In the future, I want to go to college, I don’t know which one yet, to be a mechanical engineer. I always wanted to be a professional soccer player too. That has always been my dream ever since I was a little kid. I used to play for Hoover’s soccer team. I don’t play anymore because I was struggling with my school work.
