Emily Gonzales

My name is Emily Gonzales, I’m 16 and I’m a sophomore here at Hoover High. This is my first year at Hoover, I transferred from Hilltop High because I wanted a new start. I have one sibling, David, and he is 14. Even though we fight and have our differences, I will always be there for and love him because he is my brother.

I have made great friends this year that I love and cherish so much because they are always there for me when I need someone to bring me to my senses. I love to have fun because I believe people should live their life to the fullest, an uneventful life isn’t for me. I like to learn new things that can better my future self, physically and mentally.

When I finish high school, I want to go into the medical field, nursing to be exact. I want to become a nurse because there will always be injuries and illnesses in the world and I want to be there helping someone in need. I may not be able to help everyone, but something is better than nothing.
