Amie Muller
My name is Amie Muller. I am currently a junior here at Hoover High. I was born in San Diego, but I have lived in Hawaii for a couple of years when I was in elementary school. As of now, I only live with my dad. I used to live with my sisters as well, but they moved into on- campus apartments. My mother lives in San Jose, while my half-brother lives in Riverside.
My biggest struggle right now is getting my grades up due to absences and lack of motivation. A piece of advice I would give incoming freshmen or any lower classmen, would be to stay motivated and try not to miss as much school. If you do, stay on top of your classwork and don’t give up.
A big factor into what made me the person I am today are my family and friends. They have really affected my life and progressed and changed with me. Although I have lost some friends along the way, I have gained new ones. Even if you lose friends, you never really lose family.
Something I am really passionate about is volleyball. My sophomore year, I was injured basically the whole season which really affected me, but I still have so much love for the sport. I continue to practice to get better.
