Jennifer Lopez was born on July 24,1969 and is currently 51 years old. Also well known by her nickname J. Lo, she is an American actress , singer , dancer , fashion designer ,  producer and businesswoman. Jennifer also became the first Latina actress to earn one million dollars for a film. She has established herself as one of the highest- paid Latina actresses in Hollywood. In 2001 Jennifer became the first woman to have a number one album and film in the same week. She also produced the famous romantic comedy The Wedding Planner. She is regarded as the most influential Latina entertainer in the United States.  In 2012, Forbes ranked her as one of the most powerful celebrities in the world, as well as the 38th most powerful woman in the world.  J.Lo’s fifth studio album , Como Ama Una Mujer received the highest first – week sales for a debut Spanish album in the United States. Then she made an appearance on American Idol as a judge and also released her seventh studio album Love?.

To help families in need Jennifer created a nonprofit organization called the Lopez Family Foundation.  The nonprofit organization seeks to increase the availability of healthcare for underprivileged women and children, offering a telemedicine program supported by a partnership with the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The foundation has led to the expansion of medical facilities in Panama and Puerto Rico, and created the Center for a Healthy Childhood at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
