Manuel De La Torre, Staff Writer
Manuel De La Torre, currently a senior at Hoover High, is 17 years old, and an athlete. Manny plays baseball for Hoover and hopes to play college ball. Manuel always had an interest in photography and videography and has been doing it since he was 13. Manuel first got his professional camera at the age of 16, in April of 2021, and ever since then, he started taking pictures of everything he could. That’s where his photography journey started.
Manuel has been playing baseball since he was a little kid. In 2012, he played for the Sunshine Little League team. He always had baseball in his heart and dreamed of playing in the Major Leagues. He continues his journey at Hoover High.
Manuel loves to hang out with friends and family during his free time. He loves going out to eat and his favorite food is pizza. He likes socializing with people he is close with, and a smart kid at school with amazing grades. Manuel was born in Hemet California and moved to San Diego. His favorite place to visit is his cousin's house in Oklahoma. He loves the clear land and riding quads and razors at the dunes. Manuel couldn’t be him without all his friends and family he loves.
