Michael Jeffrey Jordan was born on February 17, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York. He is a professional American basketball player, Olympic athlete, business person and actor. He is 6 feet, 6 inches tall. He is considered one of the best basketball players ever. Michael Jordan dominated the sport from the mid-1980s to the late 1990s. Jordan is a former American basketball player who led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships and won the Most Valuable Player Award five times. With his six NBA championships, restaurants, stake in the Charlotte Hornets, corporate sponsorship with Nike, and endorsement deals with Gatorade, Hanes and Upper Deck, Jordan’s estimated net worth is more than $1 billion.

In 1989, Michael Jordan married Juanita Vanoy. They had three children together: Jeffrey, Marcus and Jasmine. After 17 years of marriage, the couple divorced in December 2006. Jordan has been a great influence for the African American culture. He was one of the greatest impacts in world sports and he is known for his great success. Jordan’s goal was to make it into the varsity basketball team but his surprise was that he didn’t make it in the team.
