The biggest support to a human’s mental health, emotional support, and companionship is to have dogs. Roy and Luna are my favorite creatures alive today because they provide a lot of support just by being cute and existing.
I have two dogs, Roy and Luna. Roy is the oldest, a male, and a Belgian Malinois who has the most energy I have ever seen in a dog. Luna is the female and a Dalmation puppy, but is the lazy one who is always sleepy.
As a person with strong anxiety and worries, I need the dogs for distractions and comfort. Dogs are shown to reduce stress which is something us humans deal with all the time. When I got Roy, it was the best thing that has ever happened to me. He was obviously a puppy and based on how puppies act, they bring out the wholesome precious person you are inside. I would say it is the biggest stress reliever, and an escape from reality.
Roy is currently a year and five months old and Luna is 5 months old. The dogs are the most energetic when they get to express themselves in running around, and their energy transfers from their body and goes to me. A dog’s love is contagious, and there are no bad days when owning dogs.
When the winter starts, I am going to be able to hangout with them. I take them on night walks because the dogs love the winter and hate summer. They are a balance of introverts and extroverts. They’re on a family level of love because they are basically family who you get to play with and feed.
Based on what I have seen, the people who dislike dogs get along with them. The comfort a human brings to a dog is the same the other way around. The strong connection bond I created happened through meal times with them, walks, and moments of affection. The reason they’re important to me is because of their companionship, and are man’s best friend.
