Fidel Cabrera is currently a 17 year old senior in Hoover High school, and part of the AHHC academy. He was born in San Diego California but his parents are from a small town in Durango, Mexico, which he visits regularly.

His favorite color is blue. His hobbies outside of school are going out with his friends and reading. His favorite movie is 21 Jump Street because he finds it hilarious. His favorite food to eat is pizza. One place he wants to travel to in the future is Albania. Fidel likes to challenge himself, and has taken many AP classes throughout his school year and has maintained good grades.

His current favorite class is ap psychology because he is aspiring to become a psychiatric nurse, and this class helps give him some insight. His biggest fear is not graduating and disappointing his parents. He is currently in the Faces program where he has an internship and is also a part of Avenue for Success. What he likes most about Hoover is that there are tons of opportunities to go to college.

“The opportunities at Hoover are endless,” expresses Fidel.

After graduation he is planning on going to community college and then transferring and he also wants to study abroad in Spain.
