Bohemian Rhapsody, is a movie based on the real-life rock band, Queen. The main lead singer is Freddie Mercury.
My personal favorite movie of all time is Bohemian Rhapsody because growing up I loved listening to Queen, especially their song “We Will Rock You.” It was my all-time favorite song, so when I found out there was a movie based on them, you know I had to see it. When I first watched it, I was very entertained, and kept me engaged, and overall left me astonished. I also love it because I felt in touch with the movie, and I could relate to some of Freddie’s moments. I also felt like I was in the same room as them, and could feel the tension growing between the band. I would also feel the music whenever they sang and they sounded phenomenal.
Bohemian Rhapsody is about the British rock band Queen, how they met each other and their rise to becoming the famous rock band that we know and love today. It also shows their struggles and how some of their popular songs were made and created. As well as many of the concerts they perform at, with one of them being their famous Live Aid in 1985.
The directors did a wonderful job with creating Bohemian Rhapsody and should be praised for their amazing work. The actors look very similar to the real Queen band, you can even compare the actors and the band and they look like the real thing. The visuals were incredible, I couldn’t take my eyes off the movie for one bit, because it shows something new in every scene. The storyline was wonderful, you might think it’s just about Queen which it is but it’s more than that. It shows the rise of Queen and their joyful moments, but it also shows their dark times and rough patches which you might have never known.
You should watch Bohemian Rhapsody because you may think it’s another quick cash-grab movie using Queen’s name. But the directors actually put effort in it and look like they try to get every single detail of Queen down to perfection. Especially if you love Queen or music in general you should definitely watch it. It is available on Hulu and Disney+ with subscription.
