Angel Valdiva is a senior in Hoover High School and what he plans to do after high school is either go to a trade school or a community college.
Angel would like to learn welding or become an electrician due to the hourly rates, and because he can do an apprenticeship with pay, which will really help him start off his life. If he goes to college, he will most likely go to Grossmont Community College for two years, and if he decides to, he will transfer to a four-year college, either here or outside of San Dieg.
If he goes the college route, he’s either thinking of taking a criminal justice class to see how that goes, with the goal of working in national security or at borders and customs down in San Ysidro. He’s also thinking about pursuing a career in music, either in teaching or in another music-related career.
For hobbies, Angel mostly just goes shopping, thrifting, or scootering, or he just goes downtown and rides around for a couple of hours. His favorite color is black because it’s simple and plain. His favorite food would probably be a torta, as he grew up watching El Chavo del 8 on TV when he woke up and stayed home. He is 17 and the oldest of three, with one sibling being two years younger and the other being six years younger. He also plays the saxophone in jazz band and used to play in concert band but switched to jazz. He also knows how to play the guitar as well.
