Christian Martinez, is an outgoing senior in Hoover High School who strives to be on top of his work and music.
Christian is part of the FACES For The Future program. He says being a part of FACES is interesting to him, and states that they can help you build strong communication skills, along with expanding your acknowledgement in the medical field. Christan says he really enjoys the medical activities they provide.
Christian is also in the mariachi program and plays the trumpet. He says trumpet was the most difficult instrument for him to learn, though he knows that he is getting better then the first week he played. He enjoys having Mr. Tapia as a teacher because he feels like he encourages his students to continue learning and be their best on their own. Trumpet isn’t his first instrument, he also plays bass, electric guitar, and sax, though he ended up giving up sax.
In his free time likes to skate. He has been skating since 7th grade and continues to skate to this day. He states skating helps him be fit and he simply just enjoys feeling the warm breeze on his skin. He also has an interest in cooking. He is now taking culinary classes with Mr. Josh, and loves doing hands-on work. After high school he expresses that he will continue that interest and maybe even be a chef.
Christian is an interesting and funny person, who you can easily tell when he is passionate about his interests and hobbies.
