Miguel Arzeta is a senior at Hoover High School and is in the former ALMA academy, now VAPA. Miguel has been coming to Hoover High since his freshman year. It was the closest high school to his house, and he is now in his last year and looks forward to making the most out of it. Miguel thinks Hoover High is a great school and helps him get the best out of him physically and mentally. Hoover has given him many opportunities to make up any missing grades he has so he can graduate with the rest of his classmates. He is also very appreciative of the gym that Hoover has open every day after school, which allows him to stay in shape and helps him reduce stress and anxiety. Originally Miguel had a cooking class and decided to switch to a yearbook as he had previously already taken a cooking class. He decided to make this switch as he wanted to try something new and different and see what kind of new things he could learn from it. Outside of school, Miguel enjoys doing many things such as playing soccer,  piano, video games, and working out. He is very athletic and isn't afraid to try new things as he is currently learning how to play the piano. Miguel also loves spending time with his family as he has three younger brothers and lives with both parents. He says he and his family go camping a lot and travel often as he stated they have been to Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico. Miguel said though that he wishes to go to Europe one day as he loves the football culture over there and it is a wonderful place to visit. Lastly, Miguel said that after he has finished high school he plans on going to trade school and getting a degree in electrical engineering as he thinks it is a great career choice and he will learn a lot from it.
