Diego Viveros is a hard working senior at Hoover and in the AHHC academy.
Diego’s interest in soccer began 14 years ago when he was four. He is currently a part of Hoover’s varsity soccer team which he’s very passionate about. The reason he started his soccer journey is because his dad has put countless time and money into his soccer career. His dad pushed him to work harder, and at an early age, he introduced the team setting onto Diego so he would adapt quickly in high school.
Diego’s position on the field is winger. This position requires a lot of endurance and will to keep on running up and down the field. His favorite memory is when he scored a goal from half field in the last minute to win the game 1-0 in a tournament. He plans on continuing soccer so he will be joining the college soccer team at San Diego City College.
Some of his hobbies outside of sports include bible study and being a barber. Diego started hustling as a barber at the end of his sophomore year. He enjoys what he does because his job allows him to connect with his clients. Diego wants to open up his own barber shop because he wants to be in a workspace that he designed and grow his clientele as well as choose who works around him. He will achieve this by going to San Diego City college and majoring in business.
Diego appreciates his parents so much. They have sacrificed a lot for him and in return he’s willing to make them proud by graduating this May. Every day he works hard to ensure he keeps his good grades. He puts in so much effort no matter the academic struggles that he encounters which demonstrates how resilient he is.
