Adam Millan is a senior in the AHHC academy taking the sports medicine route.
Adam is a well-educated disciplined young man who always had a love for God. He was born in Boise, Idaho and was raised there until he was 9, then commuted to Tijuana. Everyday he has to wake up at 3 AM to get ready for school and has been doing this since the 5th grade.
One of his passions includes boxing. He has been working on this for three years now and is invested in his training to become a skillful boxer to potentially go professional one day. Being involved in this sport has made him more disciplined and he states that the discipline he’s gained from boxing has allowed him to stay motivated in his school work even when he doesn’t want to do it or doesn’t feel like it.
Another passion of his includes God. He is the President of the Hoover Bible Faith Club this year and has been involved in this club for three years. This club has allowed him to have a better relationship with God and has motivated him to spread the gospel himself.
He is also involved in an after school program called Reality Changers which helps him with college readiness and offers tutoring every once a week. He has been involved with this program since 8th grade.
After high school he plans to major in fire science at Southwestern College so he can become a firefighter. He wants to serve and protect his community.
