Abigail Medina, who goes by the nickname Abby, is a hardworking and dedicated student of Hoover High School and is in the ALMA academy and class of 2027.
Abby was born on December 16. Her family is originally from Mexico, but she was born in the United States. Abby has four siblings, her two older brothers and she is a triplet with her sister Annabel and brother Ayden who both attend Hoover High School.
Abby is a sophomore, and with her two years at Hoover she has achieved great success here. Abby is a multi-athlete at Hoover playing flag football, soccer, and track. She was one of the first females to join flag football during her freshman year of high school, and has been playing since. She was given offensive player of the year award for flag football during her freshmen year. As for soccer, she has been playing since 2020, and made a great impact for the Hoover soccer team. She made it on varsity her freshman year and is still playing varsity, during freshman year she was given another award of, “Rookie of the Year.” Abby is a kind and humble person when it comes to sports, and will always be a great player on and off the field.
Abby is currently in many programs such as Athlete Academy, Youth Council, Aaron Price, and AFS. Abby wants to attend a UC four-year college, but she has yet to decide where she will attend. Many would describe Abby as sympathetic, determined, and creative. During her free time she enjoys doing art, and watching movies. Her favorite color is green and favorite music artist is Laufey.
