Mylene Miranda is a hard-working Hoover student in the VAPA Academy. She is a great student who has an excellent 3.0+ GPA.
She is a kind-spirited person who’s fun to be around and has a compassionate attitude. She is also helpful, self-managed, friendly, and very smart! She is a very extroverted person who loves to get along with other students. She’s very caring and loves to work with others, help people, and encourage them to pull forward with their successes as well. She believes that Hoover High itself encourages students to succeed and take advantage of the many opportunities that not only the school provides, but also those that are external and help students with their triumphs in education and the world that still revolves around us.
As for extracurricular activities, Mylene is a part of Cardinals Interact, a program that empowers students to succeed and extend their full potential in their education, along with their goals during and after high school. In this program, she has learned to be as confident and as social as she is and is very thankful to have learned so much from it. She is also in the Card of Hearts, a show choir group, in which students not only sing but dance in performances set in Hoover High itself or other events outside of the school. She has much passion for her work in both programs and hopes to keep what she’s learned in them as a part of her to help her succeed.
Mylene hopes to see a brighter future at Hoover High School and to see success in what the school is now and what it may become later on. Mylene hopes that many know that success begins with accepting yourself and doing what you do only because it’s what you want, and that being true to yourself is a major step towards finding what you’re truly destined to be.
