He picked up his first guitar, a red glittery Ibanez Gio, in 2018. Played on it for a couple of weeks and gave up instantly. But during Covid, he picked up his guitar and practiced more. He now plays the guitar beautifully and does it with no problem. He is really talented when it comes to playing guitars. He now owns three guitars and a bass. He states playing guitar helps him relax and helps him find something to do when he’s bored.
He joined Rock Band in his junior year and performed at Battle of the Bands, playing “Blind” by Korn and “I Don’t Want To Be Me” by Type O Negative. He states he was scared at first but in the middle of performing, he actually started to enjoy this new experience.
As this new feeling came into his life, he would form a band with his best friend and would add in his two other good friends. He named his band, Reality, and stated during the day, in Rock band, he actually grew comfortable performing in front of people. With this new confidence, he ended up performing in his friend’s garage with a small audience.
If you couldn’t tell already, Favian is a big music nerd. He likes to collect CDs as much as he likes to collect vinyl records. So far he has 64 Cds and 14 vinyls. He says out of his vinyl and CDs, he really loves Santana by Santana, Justice For All by Metallica and Collection ll by Misfits.
