It has come to light that Grad Night for the senior class of 2025, has been delayed due to unavoidable circumstances and complications related to the event.
There are three main reasons why Grad Night was delayed. Lack of funds to attend the event was the major cause. Disney tried to allow some time but they did not receive and collect enough to pay for the seniors. There is also speculation that large amounts of money were missing from candy sales.
“Last year on grad night, some of the students disrupted the event and those students were banned from the park,” stated Hoover’s Head Counselor, Ms. Andrea Munoz. “The class of 2024 made a bad impression for Hoover and the class of 2025.”
One of the associate principals mentioned that the seniors this year are not succeeding with their attendance, school work, and overall academics–
“The seniors this year have not been doing a good job with their behavior and expectations,” responded Class advisor Ms. Felicia Massey. “But it’s their attendance and tardies that have hurt them the most.”
It has been mentioned that they will put the existing money toward those who are more deserving, and since the juniors have been doing a good job, they’ll have more money for the Class of 2026 on their Grad Night next school year.”
The last primary reason for this situation was the insufficient number of attendees to fill the event spots. Additionally, the bus company canceled their contracts due to not sending the deposit funding on time.
No further date has been decided. Disney sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and wished to convey that the celebration of your final year of high school will be postponed. You may be able to get a refund from the finance office.
