From my perspective, money can bring happiness, as many people might argue it can’t.
But in my self-defense, it can bring happiness as long as you know what you’re doing. There should also be limits because money can also bring greed, addictions, and even intervene and ruin friendships, relationships, etc. So you must know your boundaries, for instance, many people spend their lives working just so they can provide for their families, or be able to have food on the table and keep up with all their monthly payments. For that, I would want to be wealthy as I would want to fulfill my dream of retiring my parents one day. I’ve seen them struggle day in and day out, providing for me and my little brothers as they want to give us the childhood they never had. I want to become independent and flip the roles and take the responsibilities.
I also want to be able to help people in need who may need it more than me as there are people out there whose lives could change in moments due to them struggling financially. Many people would say money doesn’t buy happiness, but for others, money is a way for people to see their families or change their lives for the better. But as I said before, money isn’t everything, as too much can harm you, where it might become a habit of spending too much or create an addiction, as where you would become a gambling addict.
Money can even change the way people view you, as friends or family might only care for or talk to you when they need money from you. And it will be difficult to deny, as they might talk bad about you or start rumours if you deny them. So money can either bring happiness or not, but it would be sure nice to have and not have to worry.
