Anthonie Rodriguez is a well-educated and respectful sophomore at Hoover High School and is in the SABE academy.
Anthonie was born on October 14. His mother is from Mexico City, but Anthonie was born and raised in San Diego. Anthonie has three older sisters who are now out of high school making himself the youngest and only boy.
Anthonie recently transferred from High Tech this year. During his first year here at Hoover, he has made a great impact. Anthonie played soccer since he was five, but ended up not enjoying it soon after so he stopped until he picked up basketball and has been playing since freshman year. Anthonie is mainly focusing on baseball and is currently on the JV baseball team for Hoover. He plans on joining Football for the upcoming school year. Anthonie wants to join the AVID program which helps students to prepare for college and success which will help him in the long run because he wants to attend Harvard University or the University of North Carolina to study and become a lawyer.
Anthonie’s goal in life is to become the best person he can be while also becoming successful in the future. His proudest moments are accomplishing and maintaining good grades. Many people would describe Anthonie as observant, nonchalant, and chill. Anthonie loves to travel with his family and travels four to six times a year. He has been to many places such as Arizona, Texas, Italy, Mexico, and New York. During his free time he enjoys working out and playing sports with his cousin and friends in his free time. His favorite color is blue, and his favorite music artist is J Cole.
