Javier Hernandez best known as “Chicharito” is a Mexican professional soccer player who plays as a striker for La Liga MX club Guadalajara. He was born on June 1st, 1988 in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Chicharito was the first Mexican soccer player to play for the European club Manchester United in 2010. He played four seasons with them and then became one of the few Mexican players to play for one of the biggest clubs in History, Real Madrid in 2015.
Chicharito is also known for having the most goals in the Mexican national team with 52 goals in his career, he also has over 250 goals that he achieved throughout his career with clubs like Manchester United, Las Chivas, Real Madrid, and the Mexican national team.
Chicharito grew up in a family of soccer players, his dad, Javier Hernandez Gutierrez, was a professional soccer player as well as his grandfather, Tomas Balcazar. Chicharito signed his first contract at the age of fifteen years old with his boyhood club, C.D. Guadalajara (Chivas), and worked his way up through the academy.
Chicharito is currently 37 years old and almost at the end of his career, and owing this to his national team, his clubs, and all the people that watched him play his heart out. He is one of the best and, for some, considered the best Mexican soccer player ever. He gave a lot of tears and sweat into the game of soccer, and the nice moments that he gave the Mexico national team in the three World Cups. He brought back emotion to his national team and that he also gave to the Mexican people because he achieved his dream in Europe as well. Chicharito will always be remembered as one of the best.
