Receiving a Grammy is extremely difficult and is one of the biggest accomplishments for a musical artist because it shows how much that artist has gone in their career, how much of the community sees them for their talent and what they accomplished in their genre. A Grammy can be won for many categories such as Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, and Best Music Video. On February 15, 2016, the 58^th Annual Grammy Awards awarded many there were many well-known artists like Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar. Many artists and collaborations were acknowledged to be a hit to many fans. These artists were recognized and put into categories that describe what their song or music video or what the artist themselves have been producing that caught the eyes and ears of many fans. I believe those who won a Grammy did deserve their award for their hard work and effort in what they produce, also how they improved on themselves.

Fans are allowed to express how they feel on an artist’s new piece and share it so that it would expand, become more recognized and criticized for not only the artist to see what their fans like and don’t like, but the music industries to see which artist has been growing and how they’ve been developing to determine who ends up receiving the Grammy in the year. There are many different award shows for music artists, but the biggest award show is the Grammys. It’s pretty similar to how actors and actress’ look forward to seeing who ends up receiving an Oscar, but in the music world, music artists wait for that one time of the year to see who has been working hard and deserves the greatest award of the year. Many awards are given every year to music artists, but they all can’t be compared to the Grammys. The Grammys are given to the hardest working artists that were very much recognized during the year.

All their songs being produced constantly coming up with hits that relate towards many perspectives of a story and help the artist have their fans connect and understand with what they create. From being Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best New Artist and many other categories, these artists are best being highlighted by given a Grammy award.
