Staff and students of Hoover High School met at 6:45 am to protest the confirmation hearing of Ms. Betsy DeVos for Secretary of Education.  This position has been held by people who have been educators in public education.  However, Ms. DeVos has no experience whatsoever.  Apparently her agenda includes charter schools and vouchers.  If confirmed, the future of public education would be in jeopardy for all.
