The yearbook staff is proud to reveal the cover of the 2017 yearbook. This years theme is “Roots & Wings.”

According to Editor-in-Chief, senior Denise Becerra, “We chose our theme, “Roots & Wings” because once students step onto Hoover’s campus, they begin to plant roots. They may connect with a certain teacher or through a program, but whatever is the case, they are like a new seedling which will grow. As the years go by, they become more knowledgeable and grounded so by their senior year, they are ready to sprout wings and fly away. But no matter where they go, how far away they are, they manage to come back either to visit or possibly work.”

This year’s book is dedicated to Mr. Herman Acosta.
