Tuesday September 26th, the lady Cards go up against the Mission Bay Buccaneers, in the first set they fight hard with a set score of 20-23, Mission with the lead. Furthermore, the girls played another set with a score of 17-23. Coach Tom determined to come back, the girls fought hard and played their hearts out this match. As a result they are defeated, but not before they won two sets. Although they are down, they are not defeated, they’ll be looking to defeat San Diego High on Thursday.

Thursday September 28th our Lady Cardinals bounced back from Tuesday’s defeat against Mission Bay. As the first set kicks off, the ladies pass, set, spike their way to yet another W with a set score of 25-16. San Diego High’s coach Mello trained and coached hoping to comeback, but Hoover’s will was too strong. The game was put to rest in a final set score of 25-20 and finishing the week with high spirits and exceeding ambitions.
