Goodbye Girl’s Volleyball

The Varsity girls season ended on October 24, 2017 and was filled with high emotions. This was the last time that ten of the fifteen players would play on the court as Hoover players. They went up against Serra High School for their final home game which was also their senior night. The girls played their hearts out trying to finish their season strong. They blew past Serra 25-21. However they were unable to stop the Serra run as they closed out the next three sets, effectively ending the Lady Card’s volleyball season. Although the game didnt go the way they wanted, that didnt stop the team from celebrating their seniors and all the hard work that they put into the sport for four years.

“My senior night was unforgettable!” said senior Kadijat Pout.  “All the love and support I got was unmeasurable and it was a great way to end my last year of volleyball.”

The love and bond of the team was felt that night as they were saying goodbye to their teammates. Congratulations to all the seniors and the hard work they’ve put in into volleyball.
