It’s a Wrap

The last game of the Hoover football season was a rough one that concluded in a loss with a score of 6-49 against Patrick Henry.  The team scored towards the end of the 4th quarter, with junior Jaccoy Mcnealy landed a 10 yard touchdown. However in the end, the fact they were saying goodbye to their teammates, overshadowed the score. Many of the team will be back next year but for the seniors, they have to turn their gear in for the last time.

The seniors were heartbroken playing their last game.  All of the senior players have contributed all their four years to this football team at Hoover. They have been through changes with the coaches and different playbooks for both offense and defense but that didn’t stop them from playing and being the best they can be out on that field. Many would do it all over again. Some seniors walked off the field crying at the end of the game but only because they are going to miss playing football at Hoover.
