Michelle Armas

I am a senior here at Hoover High School. Currently, I am a part of the Young Entrepreneurs Society, Upward Bound and I am the art director for the Academy of Information Technology. I enjoy writing, graphic design and photography. However, I dislike standardized tests and public speaking.

As a perfectionist, one of my greatest forte is my work ethic. I am a highly motivated individual with great organization skills. Unfortunately, due to my perfectionism, I tend to worry over the slightest things. I have a fear of failure and I become frustrated when I have an outcome that does not match what I had originally envisioned.

All in all, my story is much like everyone else’s. I am a little dreamer in this infinite cycle we call life, striving to make a name for myself. Though I am an introvert who comes from a socioeconomically disadvantaged background, I embrace every aspect of my disposition and heritage. For it is all those factors that impacted who I am today and what I will become tomorrow.
