The December 7th, Hoover Girls’ basketball game was a success; they came out with a win, beating San Ysidro High School 48-26. This was their first win in three years playing at home. They came out with confidence and ready to win the game. They played with great teamwork with their passing and gave good feedback to each other which led to their victory. Communication has been a problem since they’ve began but Thursday night everything clicked.

Their zone defense resulted in multiple swats and had charged stops. Their transition offense along with their ball movement showed the team’s bright future. The girls basketball team is currently 3-0 at the start of their season. Good luck on their Tuesday December 12th matchup against Orange Glen.
