Sherlin Cruz

Hello, I’m Sherlin Cruz. I am a junior here at Hoover High School and I am part of the Academy of Information Technology (AOIT). I’m involved in many extracurricular activities such as sports where I play soccer and lacrosse. I’m also part of multiple clubs around campus, for instance, the Cesar Chavez Club, Link Crew, the student advisory board for AOIT, ACE mentoring program, Octagon Club, Students Without Limits, and many others.

Since I’m involved in numerous clubs at school, I’m always occupied by walking around campus to attend a meeting, but I will always try to take the time out of my day to lend you a hand in any situation that is needed.

After the three years attending Hoover, I continue to gain many experiences with the people I have met through these clubs along with skills that will help me in the long run, such as time management. I have been able to notice the new person I have become by challenging myself to try new things by starting to get out of my comfort zone to be able to experience anything that comes my way to make my high school years memorable.
