Pitch Perfect 3 is an American musical comedy film directed by Trish Sie and written by Kay Cannon and Mike White. This will be the third and final film to the Pitch Perfect trilogy.

The film was released in United States on December 22, 2017, receiving mixed reviews from the audience and critics. The budget was $45 million and grossed $141 million worldwide. On Rotten Tomatoes, it states that 53% liked the movie and received a rating of 3.2 out of 5 stars. In the website, Richard Roeper states, “As a whole, Pitch Perfect 3 feels like an encore nobody asked for.”

The first two movies set up their group and their experiences together. In the last movie, it is shown that they graduate college, but end up having unexpectedly horrible lives because of their jobs and are desperate to see each other and sing with each other again. They gather together for a reunion and one of the previous leaders of the group, Audrey, convinces them to join a USO competition hosted by her father and if they win they’d be able to open for DJ Khaled. Throughout the movie, they go through different performances and unexpected events with each other. In the end, it’s revealed that Khaled opened the proposition to Beca, so everyone in the group agrees to move on with their lives and they know they’ll be seperated, but always connected.

In my opinion, the movie was funny, but I’d have to agree with the reviews. The movies are repetitive and have no change throughout the trilogy. In addition the movie didn’t have a good ending like it should have, it kinda looked like they squished everything in the end because of how they all ended up with their horrible jobs besides Beca. Overall, it was a decent movie, but I wouldn’t recommend.
