California’s appearance at the Paris Climate Accords

The Paris Climate Accords is the act of the world’s nations coming to a convention to address global warming and how we should be reducing our carbon emissions from worsening. During these conventions, they established the maximum emissions of all harmful gases and further discussion of the effects of said plans. As most of us know, one of President Trump’s first actions was to take America out of the Paris Climate Accords believing that global warming is just a myth. He believes that we should be able to put out as much gas as we need because the amount will not have an effect on our planet.

As of recent, California representatives have taken the liberty to attend the latest Accords meeting without informing the national government. As most can assume, this has brought conflict between our national government and our state government because California did not abide by the set rules applied to them. California’s purpose for attending the Accords was not to rebel against our national government, but instead to be a part of the solution rather than the problem. California is only trying to lead our world into better future environmental terms than what world is currently in.

From past talk about California segregating from the United States, this may be the first of many actions proving so. Surely stricter rules and laws are to set upon California as well as other states. Those of which can be the tipping point for California along with other states by their side. Many more events and conferences are still to occur, but only time can tell what actions our nation seem to take. All of which can change our future as adults drastically.
