Zannah Mustapha

Many people may not have heard about Zannah Mustapha and well some people may actually know him. For those of you who don’t know him, Do you remember the time when a group of girls were kidnapped? Zannah Mustapha is a 57 year old lawyer from Borno state, a Nigerian man who founded the Future Prowess Islamic Foundation School. This school provides free Islamic based education for children that are orphaned by an insurgency. By a desire, he was motivated to help the number of many war affected young. The school provides many things like free meals, uniforms, and health care. Zannah Mustapha was also part of the people who saved the girls who were kidnapped in 2014. He has receive a number of accolades for the work he has done in the school. Mustapha has gotten awards like the 2017 Aurora price modern day hero award and also the 2016 Robert Burns humanitarian award. In 2012, Mustapha was able to go to Zurich and Geneva to receive formal training as a mediator. He received a commemorative medal and $150,000, which he used to fund a project that has complemented his work.
