My name is Shayla Nguyen Ngo and currently I am a senior at Hoover High School. I recently graduated from the Health Academy and I chose this academy because I’ve always wanted to be a pharmacist. After highschool, I’m planning on majoring in chemistry at UCI.

My family is made up of six members; me, my parents, my sister, my brother and my dog. My family makes me who I am today, and they’re my main source of motivation. When I see them proud of me, it makes me want to strive and become successful for them. However, I do it for myself as well, my goal is just to live a happy and successful life.

In my four years of high school, I’ve experienced a lot of things, both fun and tiring. Things I don’t regret is joining volleyball and badminton, they taught me to always work hard and never give up in what I want. When I’m not playing volleyball or badminton, I usually asleep. As boring as it sounds, I love sleep, I feel better after a good nap.

Something I also value are my friends, they always support me and are always there when I need them. I’ve made and lost friends through high school, but it’s okay because things happen for a reason.
