What’s The Point of Fashion?
January 13, 2016
Everyone has a different personality and different point of view. Different personalities can also mean different style of appearances on people. I believe that the point of fashion is to express and give a visual on how a person feels, what type of person they are and what they really like when it comes to clothing. Fashion leads to new fashion trends but it is not only clothing that makes it up. Hairstyles and accessories such as hats, watches and shoes also contribute to fashion that people gain interest in and follow because it appeals to them.
Fashion can express a person’s mood, and personality. Usually people who wear black or dark or neutral colors can be quiet and not as social. There are others who wear bright colors that stand out and can show how outgoing and happy a person can be. Fashion can set an example with what most people wear these days and what’s in style. There are different types of fashion that many people can follow, for example season colors, holiday themes, hobbies they like to do. People can dress to impress or just wear whatever they feel like depending on the weather or what type of day it is.
When it comes to fashion, there are different types of people that have different styles and set examples, such as trendsetters, athletes, work attire, or even casual. People fashion is everywhere and everyone has their own style. Fashion falls in many different categories, but it necessarily doesn’t have to fit with everybody else. A person can dress up however they want and feel like even if he/she mixes and matches clothing and accessories. It’s still considered fashion as their signature look. Many people care about how they look and depend on the clothes they wear to reflect that.
The point of fashion is to truly show and express a person’s personality and taste in clothing. Fashion doesn’t need to be based on how expensive and how popular whatever is in style. Fashion can be anything. It’s about what a person wears and how it makes them happy and proud of what they look like. Fashion doesn’t have a price, nor a specific style.
