There are a lot of people that have low self-esteem about how they look like because in the society we live in, there is this perfect image of having a perfect body.

Social media plays a huge part because there are models and their perfect bodies which gives people the idea of that’s how they have to look.  But everyone is different, and everyone is beautiful in their own way and no one can compete or try to be like others.  You should always try to be yourself and never put yourself down just because you aren’t satisfied with how your body looks.

In our society, everyone has the right to be who they are and no one should feel ashamed.  Friends play an important role in who you are.  You should feel proud and stand up for yourself and not let others put you down. Your “friends” should lift you up and not bring you down or make you feel inferior.  Your self-esteem can be affected by friends you surround yourself with.  They can influence you in thinking you’re not good enough.

Always feel good about yourself no matter what social media, friends, family have to say about your appearance.  Remember that none of their opinions matter.  Always do what makes you happy and makes you feel good about yourself.  You are the only one who lives your life.  Loving and accepting yourself is the first step.  Don’t try to make others happy just try to keep yourself happy with youself because people are never satisfied and will always try to bring you down.

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt
