Senior Itenda Makanda one of the fastest high schoolers in San Diego. Itenda is on the Hoover High School’s track team. He is a leader and has been on the track team all his four years. Itenda says he started running when he would go get groceries for his mom and would run to where he had to get as fast as he could. His favorite track star is Usain Bolt, who is easily the fastest human on the planet. Itenda hopes to pursue an athletic career in the Olympics. He hopes he can reach state this year to make everyone who has always supported him proud.
