Romeo Santos is an American singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, and former lead vocalist of the Bachata band Aventura. He is one of the most influential bachata performers in the world and an influential voices in Latin music. Born Anthony Santos on July 21, 1981, his performances of bachata music makes everyone who listens, want to experience the dance steps.

After leaving Aventura, Santos began his solo career in 2011 and has collaborated with Usher, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Carlos Santana. In 2018, he was nominated as Best Latin Album in the Billboard Music Awards. In April 2019, he released his fourth studio album “Utopia” where he united with pioneers and legends of traditional modern bachata.

Currently, people practice dancing bachata and there are bachata classes to have the passion and experience.  The popularity of bachata music and how the music grew shows the influence by Hispanic musicians.
