Armando Delgado is a junior at Hoover High School.  He is on the cross country team and was inspired to join a cross country team since 6th grade. Armando says he joined cross country to relieve his stress. He also has found new friendships and a new family with the Hoover Cross Country Team. Armando has his own records such as a 5K in 17:14 and placed 23rd at the Eastern league finals. Armando is planning to take cross country to the next level in his college career at UCLA or UCSD. After college Armando wants to be a nutritionist or become an athletic director.
