Eugenio Derbez

Eugenio Derbez was born on September 2, 1961, Born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. Eugenio is a Mexican actor, comedian, and filmmaker. Ever since he was young he had an interest in acting. He has a degree in film directing from the Mexican Institute of Cinematography and Theater, as well as a degree in acting from Televisa’s Acting School. His career started off by participating in weekly Mexican tv shows, later on, he was featured and produced his own show Al derecho y al Derbez.
In August 2002, Eugenio was featured in one of the most famous Spanish speaking tv shows La familia P. Luche which still airs on tv today worldwide. Other well known shows he is featured in are XHDRbZ, Vecinos, and Lazos de Amor. He has also featured in one of the most successful Spanish language films Instructions Not Included. Not only did he star in it but he also directed and co-wrote the film. He also acted in many successful and critically acclaimed films including Sangre de mi Sangre, which won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance in 2007, Under the Same Moon (La Misma Luna) and many more.
Eugenio Derbez is one of Mexico’s more successful comedic actor and directors. He was recognized by Variety in 2014 as the #1 most influential Hispanic male in the world. On March 10, 2016, Derbez unveiled his star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Now, he lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife Alessandra Rosaldo and their daughter. Eugenio has also opened his own TV and film production company 3pas Studios.
