Jason Chung is a 17-year-old senior at Hoover High School. He was born on December 4, in San Diego, California. Both of his parents were born in Vietnam and he is the oldest child in his family with three younger brothers. During his free time, Jason likes to play games like MapleStory and League of Legends and is always listening to music as well. His favorite genres of music include pop, Kpop, and R&B. Jason was a member of Key Club at Hoover during his Junior year and participated in several “getting to know each other” activities and was also involved in community service. He was also a part of the Step Up program where he took a social work class at SDSU and received three college credits from it. While in the Step Up program, Jason also took care of children at a preschool to earn 40 hours of community service for the program. He still doesn’t know what he wants to study after high school but he wants to continue going to school and earning an education. Jason’s friends would describe him as intelligent, compassionate, fun-loving, and very hardworking. He is also very empathetic and someone you can always rely on.
