When it comes to food, how to cook it, where to buy it,  and so on, we all have our own preferences. We all know that fast food isn’t always the healthiest option. To stay healthy, you should eat a variety of food mainly, eat a well-balanced, low-fat diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Though some unhealthy foods once in a while should be fine.

For me, food makes me happy. Sometimes I love snacking on chips or candy when I’m not doing anything. Eating food I like makes me want to eat more food since I usually don’t like to eat that much. The amount of food or calories you take in a day can affect your mood throughout the day, so you should eat a lot of food so you can be more energetic or happy.

Food is important because it shows my heritage and culture. Food is a part of culture because different types of food represent different types of culture. Some food can mean luck or wealth. Since I am so picky, my food options are very limited haha. Ever since I had Covid around December 2020, certain foods have had a very nasty smell and taste and haven’t tasted the same. My favorite food is Bánh xèo which is a crispy, stuffed rice pancake popular in Vietnam. If you eat it with crushed peanuts and fish sauce it is really good.

Some foods that I dislike the most are vegetables. People say that vegetables don’t really taste like anything, which they don’t. I still don’t like them. It tastes like crunchy, healthy water. I also hate the texture of the crunchy vegetables, especially if you eat vegetables with something soft it feels like it doesn’t go together with each other. I also don’t really like chocolate, I will eat chocolate but I will never eat a lot because the chocolate gets stuck in my throat unless I drink water. Overall I hate the chocolaty taste.
