You decide which dream to follow

Dreams are another way to say “goals.” Dreams will provide you with a purpose and meaning in your life.  Each dream/goal can define who you are and give some characteristics that you express. It’s important to not give up on your dreams.

Along the line, you start believing that your dreams are silly and unreachable. Many people tell you to be realistic and pray for your downfall. When you’re on the peak of giving up, remember hard work is worthless for those that don’t believe in themselves. Life feels complete when you’re going for that dream. I am currently in that phase of “What am I doing here?” and spend moments trying to figure out what role I play in this universe. Doing what you want makes you feel infinite, validated, and completed. I am surrounded by kind-hearted people who inspire me to keep on working hard because it really pays off. There will be times in life where you get surrounded by toxicity and do not support you. Those people that criticize you for your dreams, because they have underestimated their own power to achieve their dreams.

My dream is to succeed and find a job that I will enjoy. That is just one of my dreams. I want to be my mother’s joy, my siblings’ laughter, and come to peace with my own self. We all have been through tough times in our lives but no one else is going to make our dream come to life, only yourself. Your past shouldn’t stop you from achieving your goals and dreams. Set positive goals that will help you develop important skills, and later execute that plan. The unknown of following your dreams will drop fear, which is okay because it is known to make you feel more alive.

Make your choice; live in peace as a wannabe or risk losing it all to reach the very top. You’re the one who gets to decide.
