Ateez is a South Korean boy band under KQ entertainment. The group consists of eight members: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. They debuted on October 24, 2018 with the mini album Treasure EP.1 : All To Zero with “Pirate King” and “Treasure” serving as the album’s singles. ATEEZ is an acronym for “A TEEnager Z.” It also stands for “A to Z ” meaning everyone. They are a group of teenagers who are aiming to do everything they can enthusiastically.

Ateez were previously known as KQ Fellaz, after their record label, KQ Entertainment. On November 17, they revealed through V Live that their fandom name will be ATINY, which is a combination of the words ATEEZ and Destiny. To me, Ateez is a group of all-rounders. Ateez offers a wide range of music in various genres, including hip-hop, pop, rap, trap, electronic dance music, and so on. Despite having a large number of upbeat songs, Ateez can also produce slow, loving, and meaningful songs.  ATEEZ can take any song and make it their own. As leader, vocalist, and rapper with the group, Hongjoong also writes music and lyrics for Ateez’s tracks, along with fellow Ateez member Mingi. Every member has an insane stage presence, and as a group, they have one of the best stage presences in the music industry. Even their facial expressions are just so good.

My favorite member is San. His stage presence is amazing, his facial expressions stands out, and his vocals are just so amazing. My current favorite song is “The Real,” but my all-time favorite is “Hala Hala.” This song is what got me into Ateez. To be honest, I like most of Ateez’s songs since they’re all good. Not that long ago, I went to their concert, and it was so fun! But we were standing for about five hours and my legs were starting to give out. The performance made up for it though. I have been waiting two years for the concert because I was supposed to go but then covid happened. It’s honestly so amazing and heartwarming to see that they’re succeeding and all of their hard work pays off, especially because they came from a small company.
